Marlow Wills
Marlow Wills is run by Yvonne Boyle. Yvonne set up Marlow Wills in early 2010 having practiced as a Family and Wills lawyer since qualifying as a Legal Executive in 1988. Because Yvonne has decades of experience in Family law, she can advise on complex situations such as stepfamilies and guardianship to ensure fairness to all of the family.
Yvonne’s in depth training and experience in Land Law means that she is also well qualified to advise on Land related issues such as dealing with registration of severance of tenancy at the Land Registry, and in writing in more complex trusts such as Life Interests in Possession Trusts, and disabled person’s trusts.
Yvonne is a full member of The Institute of Professional Willwriters, approved by the Trading Standards Institute and is a member of the Institute of Legal Executives. Marlow Wills has full Indemnity Insurance.
Why make a Will?
A will is the only way to make sure your assets including your home, savings and investments (your “estate”) go to the people and causes you care about. Otherwise it will be distributed according to the intestacy rules which is unlikely to reflect your wishes. If you and your partner aren’t married or in a civil partnership, your partner has no automatic right to receive anything. Making a will also enables you to choose someone to care for your children if neither parent survives.
